Trio of Grilled Cheese Bites
Bite-sized squares of 3 types of grilled cheese sandwiches: Cheddar with smoked honey mustard on sourdough; Gruyere on french bread with basil mayo; Brie and mango chutney on walnut bread.
Chilled highly seasoned Spanish tomato soup, like a salad you slurp! Studded with diced cucumber, bell pepper and garlic. Refreshing and simple.
Chicken Sate Skewers
Chicken breast strips are grilled on skewers and dressed with a slightly spicy Indonesian peanut dressing.
Plump California Medjool dates are pitted, wrapped with prosciutto and broiled.
Whole roasted salmon is shredded and mixed with savory secret ingredients, and cooked to perfection. Served with tarragon aioli.
Mini Caviar Pie
This is an hors d’oeuvres-sized bite based on my favorite recipe of my mother’s. Start with mini pumpernickel bread, add a spoonful of chopped egg and onion salad, and top with a dollop of black caviar. It is a mouth-watering classic.
Gorgonzola-Stuffed Grilled Portabella Mushrooms
Medium-sized stuffing mushrooms are grilled then stuffed with gorgonzola, then roasted until the cheese softens. Pairs equally well with white or red wine.
Smoked Whitefish Dip on Cucumber Slices
1/4″-thick slices of English cucumber are topped with a sour cream-based dip featuring home-smoked fish. Sprinkled with minced parsley.
Smoked Pork Sliders
Home smoked pork shoulder is shredded. Served in mini-bun of sweet Hawaiian bread, with spicy pickle chips and smoked honey mustard.
